In Uttarakhand, tourists visiting the India-Tibet border areas in Chamoli can now easily obtain an online Inner Line Permit.
The district administration has launched pass(dot) Chamoli (dot)org, wherein travellers can apply for passes online without hassle to visit sites like Mana pass, Rimkhim Pass and Niti Pass.
Earlier, visitors had to apply offline for access to these key places known for their natural beauty and religious significance. With this new system, the application process has been simplified.
District Magistrate Sandeep Tiwari stated that after applying, tourists will receive approval based on clearance from local police and the health department.
The portal also provides real-time weather and road condition updates, helping travelers plan better. This initiative will not only promote tourism but also streamline administrative procedures, ensuring a convenient experience for visitors.
