In Himachal Pradesh, the International Summer Festival is in full swing in the capital, Shimla. Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla inaugurated the four-day International Shimla Summer Festival on Saturday.
On this occasion, the Governor described such events as helpful in preserving and promoting the rich culture of the state. A large number of tourists who have come to Shimla to get relief from the scorching heat of the plains are also enjoying the diverse culture showcased in the summer festival.
Local people as well as tourists are taking great interest in the exhibition of products prepared by self-help groups during the summer festival.
