In Jammu and Kashmir, in a significant achievement in the ongoing efforts to combat terrorism and maintain peace in the region, security forces, in a joint operation, busted a terrorist hideout in Reasi district last evening.
Based sed on credible intelligence inputs, a search operation was conducted by security forces in the Lapri area of Mahore tehsil of Reasi district leading to the discovery of a hideout. The security forces unearthed a huge cache of arms and ammunition.
According to the officials, the recovery made from the hideout included an AK assault rifle, its three magazines with over 400 rounds, two pistols, two magazines with 14 rounds and four hand grenades.
The search operation in the area was continuing and further details are awaited.
