India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast cold wave conditions over Northern India today. According to IMD, dense fog conditions and light rainfall are likely to prevail in the northeastern region today.
The IMD said, cold wave conditions will prevail in isolated pockets of Himachal Pradesh while dense fog conditions are expected over Sub Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim.
The Met Department added light to moderate rainfall and snowfall along with thunderstorms and lightning is expected over Arunachal Pradesh today.
Further, light rainfall is also predicted over Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura till tomorrow
Besides, in Northwest India, there will be a gradual fall in maximum temperatures by one to four degrees Celsius during the next two days.
