Arvind Kejriwal Meets Punjab CM, MLAs Post Delhi Poll Defeat.

Days after his party’s defeat in the Delhi Assembly Elections, Aam Aadmi Party Convener Arvind Kejriwal today held a meeting with Punjab MLAs in New Delhi. Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and other senior leaders of AAP attended the meeting.

Talking to the media, Mr. Mann said that during the meeting, Mr. Kejriwal thanked all Punjab ministers and MLAs for campaigning in the Delhi Assembly polls. He also said that Punjab will be presented as a model state of development before the country ahead of the next Assembly polls in the state.

Meanwhile, the BJP has described the Aam Aadmi Party as a sinking ship. Talking to the media, party leader Vijender Gupta said that through the meeting, AAP leaders are trying to keep their people together, but it will not last. Mr. Gupta accused Aam Aadmi Party leaders of engaging in corruption in the national capital.

After the meeting, Mann informed that Kejriwal thanked the MLAs for their work in the Delhi polls. “Our MLAs arrived here for a meeting with party national convenor Arvind Kejriwal, who expressed his gratitude for their efforts in campaigning during the Delhi Assembly elections,” the chief minister said.

He further added, “Our government in Punjab has always worked for the public welfare whether it’s in education or infrastructure sectors. Now, we need to accelerate our efforts. Winning and losing is a part of the game. People of Delhi still remember us as someone who worked for them. We have two years more in Punjab. We will make Punjab a good model to showcase the entire country”.
