Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu conducted an aerial survey to assess the flood-affected regions in Andhra Pradesh.
He examined the breach in the Budameru embankment and traced the river’s flow into Kolleru Lake.
During his visit, he closely inspected areas where the Budameru River has faced encroachments and reviewed the damages and ongoing repair efforts.
Naidu also assessed the condition of the villages around Kolleru Lake and observed the flow of the Krishna River downstream of the Prakasam Barrage. Additionally, he reviewed the Hamsala Deevi region, where the Krishna River merges with the sea, and inspected the river island villages along its course.
