Telangana State Tourism Minister J Krishna Rao today said the eight trapped persons inside the SLBC Tunnel, have been identified with the help of advanced technology as part of rescue operation. He said efforts are underway to bring out at least four of them by tomorrow evening adding that it may take two more days to bring the remaining four.
Eight workers including Project and site engineers have been trapped deep inside the tunnel when a part of its roof collapsed last Saturday.
More than 500 rescuers on Friday worked to locate eight individuals trapped in the SLBC tunnel after a section collapsed six days ago. Meanwhile, Nagarkurnool district collector B Santhosh refuted claims that images captured by NGRI’s ground-penetrating radar (GPR) showed human bodies amid the tunnel debris.
“We have noticed that some fake news is going on that some bodies have been found. That news is not true. I request the Media also. If there is any such news, we will inform from the collector’s side,” he told reporters.
