Met Department forecast very dense fog conditions across north Indian States for next few days.

India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast very dense fog in northern parts of the country for few days. The IMD said that dense fog conditions will prevaill over many parts of Punjab till tomorrow and over West Uttar Pradesh till 4th of January. For  Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi and East Uttar Pradesh, the IMD has predicted very dense fog till Monday.

In Uttarakhand, the dense fog conditions is likely to prevail tomorrow till  4th of January and in north Madhya Pradesh, north Rajasthan, Jharkhand till 1st of January. Cold day condition is also expected in some parts of Punjab, Haryana and in isolated pockets of Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and north Rajasthan till tomorrow.

In Delhi, on Saturday the maximum temperature was recorded at 20.3 degree Celsius while the minimum settled at 11.8 degree Celsius, 5 degree above the normal.

The Met Department has forecast partly cloudy sky and moderate to dense fog in the national capital and its adjoining areas for tomorrow. The maximum and minimum temperatuires are like to hover around 19 and 11 degree Celsius.
