In Maharashtra, the much-awaited cabinet expansion of the ruling Mahayuti Government is now taking place at Raj Bhawan in Nagpur. Governor C.P. Radhakrishnan administered the oath of office and secrecy to the newly inducted ministers.
16 leaders from BJP, 10 from Shivsena and 8 from NCP took oath as Cabinet Ministers. In prominent leaders, Maharashtra BJP chief Chandrashekhar Bawankule took oath as Cabinet Minister in the state government.
BJP leaders Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil, Chandrakant Patil and Girish Mahajan also took oath as Cabinet Ministers. NCP leader Hasan Mushrif and Shiv Sena leader Gulabrao Patil also took oath as Cabinet Ministers.
Oath oath-taking ceremony of Ministers of the state is going on. It comes after the swearing-in ceremony of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and his deputies in Mumbai. Governor CP Radhakrishnan will administer the oath to the new ministers in the presence of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Deputy Chief Ministers. The winter session of the Maharashtra assembly will begin tomorrow.
