In Jammu and Kashmir, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha visited the Tawi Riverfront today to assess the progress of the ambitious development project.
Our Correspondent reports that during the visit, the LG inspected the ongoing work and interacted with the officials to ensure timely completion and adherence to quality standards. The officials briefed the LG on the project’s current status.
The LG urged the executing agencies to maintain the momentum to meet the deadlines. Worth mentioning, the Tawi riverfront project in the heart of Jammu is being developed on the line of Gujarat’s Sabarmati riverfront, aimed at enhancing the aesthetic value of the water body by improving natural purifying capabilities and promoting environmental and urban infrastructure sustainability.
Once completed the Tawi Riverfront will serve as a major attraction for residents and tourists, significantly boosting the city’s urban appeal and contributing to its socio-economic development.
