In Jammu and Kashmir, a devastating fire swept through the remote village of Mulwarwan in Kishtwar’s Warwan tehsil, rapidly spreading and destroying approximately 35 houses.
Akashvani Jammu Correspondent reports that in response to the emergency, fire tenders were immediately dispatched from Kokernag in the nearby Anantnag district.
The firefighters are working hard to control the flames and prevent further damage to the village, which is in a mountainous region with limited access.
Local authorities, including police and district officials, have also been on-site to assess the situation. Relief operations are ongoing, and more teams are being sent to provide additional support. More details are awaited.
