The Women Police Station, Itanagar, has been awarded with ISO 9001:2015 certification. This was informed by the Superintendent of Police, Itanagar, Rohit Rajbir Singh in a release today. He stated that this recognition highlights the station’s commitment to dealing humanely and effectively with crimes against women and children.

The certification also reflects hard work and commitment of the WPS team and their unwavering dedication in upholding principles of justice through relentless efforts to create a safer community which resulted in achieving this recognition, Singh said in appreciation.
