India Meteorological Department has forecast an increase in rainfall activity with isolated heavy to very heavy falls over northwest India from 25th June onwards.
Heavy to very heavy rainfall activity is likely to continue over many parts of central, east and northeast India during next seven days with isolated extremely heavy rainfall over West Madhya Pradesh today and tomorrow.
Met department said conditions are favourable for further advance of Southwest monsoon over remaining parts of North Arabian Sea, some more parts of Rajasthan, Punjab, some parts of Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi, remaining parts of West Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh and remaining parts of Jammu during next two days.
There is likelihood of light to moderate rainfall at most places over Northeast accompanied with thunderstorm, lightning and isolated heavy rainfall during the next seven days.
