India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast cold wave to severe cold wave conditions at isolated places over Madhya Pradesh today.
The weather agency also predicted cold wave conditions over Jammu-Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Vidarbha, Odisha, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Saurashtra, Kutch and Telangana today.
In Delhi-NCR, a slight fall of up to 3 degrees Celsius in minimum temperature has been observed with a cold wave expected today as well as smog and shallow to moderate fog in the morning and night hours.
According to the IMD, Tamil Nadu, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema are expected to witness heavy rainfall during the next 2-3 days.
