In Telangana, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued yellow alert for thunderstorm in 20 out of 33 districts of the state till Wednesday. The weather agency said, fluctuating weather conditions may continue in several parts of the state.
The IMD cautioned of thunderstorms accompanied with lightning and gusty winds at isolated places in districts including Kumuram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalapally, Mulugu and Hyderabad among others.

According to IMD’s Hyderabad centre, light to moderate rain is expected at isolated places in Telangana in the next five days.
Districts like Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Mahbubabad, Warangal, Hanmakonda, Jangaon, Siddipet, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, Rangareddy, Hyderabad, and Medchal Malkajgiri — are very likely to receive thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds. The weather office has also issued a yellow alert in these places.

Several districts, including Bengaluru rural, Kolar, Chikkaballapur, Ramanagara, Mysuru, Chamarajanagar, Hassan, Tumkur, Davangere, Shivamogga, Chikkamagaluru, Bellary, Chitradurga, and Mandya, will experience rain as a result of a cyclonic circulation that formed in the Bay of Bengal and is heading towards Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, according to the IMD.
On the other hand, light rain is also forecasted in Bengaluru city, Belagavaim, Dharwad, Bidar etc.
