Hyderabad Liberation Day Celebrated with Flag Hoisting by Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis.

Hyderabad Liberation Day is celebrated today. In Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Chief Minister of Maharashtra Devendra Fadanvis to hoist the flag. Various programmes have been organised today to mark the Liberation Day.

On the occasion of Hyderabad Liberation Day today, Chief  Minister Devendra Fadnavis will hoist the flag at Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.

At the district level, Guardian Ministers will unfurl the national flag in their respective districts. Various programmes have also been organised to acquaint students with the sacrifices made by the martyrs of the liberation struggle.

India attained independence on 15th August 1947. Subsequently, on 17th September 1948, the Indian Army launched Operation Polo and brought Hyderabad State under the Indian Union.

Thereafter, the eight districts of Marathwada were integrated into the Republic of India. Meanwhile, today will also witness the inauguration of the Beed-Ahilyanagar railway service. This historic development fulfils the long-standing aspiration of lakhs of citizens from Beed district for a direct railway connection.
