Haryana offers  subsidies to MSMEs adopting energy efficient technologies. 

Union Power Minister Manohar Lal today launched the Assistance For Development of Energy Effcient Technologies in Industrial Establishment Scheme, ADEETIE,  in Panipat, Haryana.

The scheme aims to boost energy efficiency nationwide by offering interest subsidies on loans to help MSMEs adopt energy-efficient technologies.

The Union Minister said that the main objective of the scheme is to benefit industrial units, especially those in the MSME sector. He added that the launch of this scheme comes at a time of significant change in the country. The Minister also stated that the scheme will help reduce industrial costs and promote environmental protection.

Union Minister for Power and Housing & Urban Affairs, Shri Manohar Lal, along with senior officials from the Ministry and Haryana government, will inaugurate the national roll-out event. Key highlights include the launch of the ADEETIE web portal, release of the scheme brochure, signing of MoUs with major MSME industrial associations, and felicitation of exemplary MSME units.

The scheme provides technical support, interest subsidies on loans, and policy guidance to help MSMEs lower energy costs and enhance productivity. It supports India’s climate targets, including reducing emissions intensity by 45 per cent by 2030 and achieving Net Zero by 2070.
