Former MLC N Ramchander Rao appointed as BJP Telangana President.

The Bharatiya Janata Party today appointed former MLC N Ramchander Rao as the next President of the Party’s Telangana State Unit, succeeding Union Minister Kishan Reddy.

Union Minister and election observer Sobha Karandlaje gave away the appointment letter to Ramchander Rao at a short function held at the Party Headquarters in Hyderabad.

Within the BJP, Ramchander Rao has held several key positions, including BJYM Secretary, City Unit Vice President and Official Party Spokesperson. Ramchander Rao has expressed gratitude to the party’s senior leadership following his appointment as the President.

Rao was the only candidate to file his nomination for the state unit president post and his election was announced today.

BJP senior leaders, including Union Ministers G Kishan Reddy and Bandi Sanjay Kumar congratulated Rao. The appointment of Rao is seen as a move aimed at strengthening the party’s ideological and organisational base in the state.
