BSF foils Pakistan based smugglers drone attempts, recovers over 10 kg Heroin on Punjab border.

In Punjab, Pakistan-based smugglers have increased their activity of smuggling narcotics into Indian territory through drones in the last couple of days.  

However, quoting BSF sources, our Jalandhar Correspondent reports that the ever alert Border Security Force (BSF) successfully foiled their nefarious designs by neutralising 6 drones and recovering over 10 kilograms of Heroin in different operations in Amritsar and Ferozepur sector, in the last two days.

The BSF troops responding quickly, intercepted successive drone intrusions on the Amritsar border with technical countermeasures deployed on the Punjab border and flawlessly neutralised every narco drone coming from the Pakistan side, yesterday night and today early morning. More than 2 kilograms of Heroin were also recovered from the spots.

On the Ferozepur border, the troops recovered a huge consignment of 15 packets of Heroin containing over 8 kilograms of the narcotics yesterday
