Arunachal Pradesh proposes family-centric citizen database.

The Government of Arunachal Pradesh has proposed the establishment of a family-centric citizen database to enhance governance and ensure the efficient, transparent, and targeted delivery of public welfare benefits and services.

The Arunachal Pradesh Arun Parivar Patra Authority Bill, 2025, aimed at creating this database, was introduced on the first day of the state budget session in the legislative assembly today.

Another bill, The Arunachal Pradesh Flood Plain Zoning Bill, 2025, which seeks to regulate flood zone demarcation along the state’s river waterways to mitigate flood risks and ensure better land-use planning, was also introduced in the house.

Along with these, two more bills, The Arunachal Pradesh Goods and Services Tax (Amendment) Bill, 2025, and The Arunachal Pradesh Public Premises (Eviction of Unauthorized Occupants) (Amendment) Bill, 2025, were tabled during the session. The 5-day budget session of the state assembly will conclude on March 12.
