32 Workers Rescued from Avalanche in Uttarakhand, Rescue Operations Ongoing Amid Bad Weather.

In Uttarakhand, 32 of the trapped workers in a massive avalanche that occurred this morning near Mana village in Chamoli district have been successfully rescued. Giving the information, BRO Commander Ankur Mahajan told Akashvani that teams of ITBP, Army, BRO, NDRF, and SDRF are engaged in searching for the remaining workers.

However, bad weather is hindering the efforts. Home Minister Amit Shah and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh spoke to Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami about the incident and assured all possible support.

The Home Minister said that the safe evacuation of the people trapped in the accident is the priority of the government. Meanwhile, the Chief Minister took an overview of the rescue operations at the State Emergency Control Room in Dehradun.

The Chief Minister told reporters that the central government, state government, and other agencies are working on a war footing to rescue the trapped workers. He said that the safe rescue of the workers is the priority of the government.
