At the Paris Paralympics, India’s Shot Put thrower Sachin Sarjerao Khilari clinched the Silver medal in the Men’s Shot Put -F46 Final, with a walloping throw of 16.32m. He brought the country’s 21st medal in the mega para event.
In the Women’s Shot Put – F46 Final, Amisha Rawat finishes 15th in the event. In Shooting, Rudransh Khandelwal and Nihal Singh failed to qualify in the mixed 50m pistol SH1 event. Nihal finished 19th while Rudransh finished 22nd.
In para Table Tennis WS4 category quarterfinal round India’s.Bhavina Patil lost to China’s Zhou Ying by 14-12,11-9,8-11,11-6. In Powerlifting, Paramjeet finished eighth in men’s up to 49kg final with his best lift being 150kg on his first attempt.
