ISL 2024-25. NorthEast United FC clinches 4-1 victory over Hyderabad FC.

In the Indian Super League (ISL) Football, NorthEast United FC secured an emphatic 4-1 victory over Hyderabad FC at the Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium last evening, completing a league double in the ISL 2024-25 season.

Guillermo Fernandez opened the scoring in the 17th minute, capitalizing on a defensive error. Alaaeddine Ajaraie doubled the lead with a stunning free-kick just before halftime.

Hyderabad briefly fought back in the second half, with Manoj Mohammed scoring in the 70th minute from a Chhunga Hmar free-kick. However, Asheer Akhtar restored the two-goal cushion with a header in the 79th minute, and Mohammed Bemammer sealed the win with a powerful strike from distance in the 89th minute.

This victory marked NorthEast United’s first win in five matches, with the previous four ending in draws. Today, Chennaiyin FC will face Kerala Blasters FC at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Chennai. The match will start at 7:30 PM.
