India will take on Japan in the Semifinal of the Men’s Hockey Asian Champions Trophy at the Mayor Radhakrishnan Stadium in Chennai today.
The match will start at 8:30 PM Indian Standard time. In the other semifinal, defending champions South Korea will face Malaysia. That match will begin at 6 PM Indian Standard Time.
The Indian side outclassed Pakistan 4-0 on Wednesday to finish the league stage at the top, while Japan finished 4th by defeating China 2-1. Pakistan, who finished fifth, didn’t qualify for the last four. They will face the People’s Republic of China in the fifth-place playoff at 3:30 PM on 11 August 2023.
