India beat Bangladesh by five wickets in the Super League quarter-final at Antigua last night to set up semi-final clash with Australia in the ICC Under-19 cricket World Cup.
Put into bat first, Bangladesh batters were all out on a paltry score of 111 runs in 37.1 overs. Indian pacer Ravi Kumar struck three wickets while spinner Vicky Ostwal took two wickets.
In reply, India overhauled the victory target in just 30.5 overs losing five wickets with the help of Angkrish Raghuvanshi’s 44 and Shaik Rasheed’s 26 runs. For Bangladesh, Ripon Mondol scalped four wickets.
Indian under-19 captain Yash Dhull won the toss and opted to bowl against Bangladesh under-19.
With this win, India will now lock horns against Australia in the Super League semi-final on Wednesday.
