In the Hockey FIH Pro League, the Indian men’s and women’s teams secured impressive victories at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar last night.

India’s men’s team completed a clean sweep against Ireland with a commanding 4-NIL win. Despite Ireland’s early pressure, India’s defense held firm. Once Nilam Sanjeep Xess opened the scoring, India took control.

Later, Mandeep Singh, Abhishek, and Shamsher Singh extended the lead, ensuring a comfortable win. Previously in their first match India had defeated Ireland 3-1. The Men in Blue will take on England tomorrow. The Match will begin at 07:30 pm Indian Standard Time.

Earlier, in the women’s FIH Pro League, India bounced back from an earlier defeat to beat Germany 1-NIL, with the help of Deepika’s goal in the 12th minute

India played a disciplined game, defending well against Germany’s attacks. Goalkeeper Savita Punia made crucial saves, and the defense stood strong, preventing Germany from finding an equalizer. India women’s will next face the Netherlands tomorrow at the same venue. The match will begin at 05:15 PM.
