Delhi Metro will commence its services at 4 AM on the 26th of this month to facilitate the public to reach Kartavya Path to witness the Republic Day parade.
According to the DMRC, train services will be available at a headway of 30 minutes till 6 AM and thereafter regular timetable will be followed. People possessing bonafide e-Invitation Cards and e-Tickets for attending the Republic Day parade will be issued coupons on production of valid photo identity card issued by the government at metro stations.
These coupons will be valid for exit from Central Secretariat and Udyog Bhawan Metro station to reach the Kartavya Path. The same coupon will be valid for undertaking return journey from these two stations only.
DMRC has advised the passengers having e-Invitation Cards or e-Tickets marked with Enclosures 1 to 9 and V1 and V2 to de-board at Udyog Bhawan Metro Station. Similarly, those marked with Enclosures 10 to 24 and VN are advised to de-board at Central Secretariat Metro Station.
