The Department of Post has been providing unique services to devotees at the Mahakumbh in Prayagraj.
Services ranging from accessing accounts and updating important documents like Aadhar while sitting in the camps on the mela campus, are providing not only a memorable but also a productive experience.
Earlier, Minister of Communications Jyotiraditya M. Scindia released Commemorative Postage Stamps released with three commemorative Stamps on the Maha Kumbh 2025. The Minister unveiled the stamps at the Arail Ghat Post Office in Prayagraj.
The commemorative postage stamps depict three prominent aspects of the Triveni tirtha- Maharshi Bharadwaj Ashram, Snan and Akshayvat.
Other philatelic items, including special covers and cancellations on sacred Snan days, ‘Divya, Bhavya and Digital Mahakumbh’ and a picture postcard celebrating ‘Prakhyat Prayagraj’ have also been released.
These limited edition collectables commemorating the historic event are available on the website – www(dot)epostoffice(dot)gov(dot)in.
Meanwhile, talking to Akashvani News, sub-post master of India Post Manoj Kumar Pandey at the Mahakumbh camp highlighted the various services being provided to the devotees.
