Another batch of 3281 pilgrims left Bhagwati Nagar Yatri Niwas base camp in Jammu for the Kashmir valley to perform a pilgrimage to Amarnath Cave Shrine. The pilgrims left the base camp in a cavalcade of 111 vehicles early this morning.
The batch included 2375 Men, 822 Women, 6 Children, 62 Sadhus & 16 Sadhvies (female sadhus). Of these, 1,302 pilgrims left for Baltal base camp at 3 AM and 1,979 for Pahalgam base camp at 4 AM from where they will proceed for their further journey to the holy cave.
