Delhi’s air quality remains ‘very poor’, AQI stands at 398.

The air quality in national capital Delhi has been recorded in the very poor category with an average Air Quality Index (AQI) of 398 as of 8 PM this evening.

According to the Central Pollution Control Board, some areas of the city have breached the 400 AQI levels.

Delhi’s Ashok Vihar was recorded at 426, Bawana at 423, Alipur at 425, Vivek Vihar at 428, Bawana at 412 and Wazirpur was recorded at 440.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast that Delhi and NCR are likely to experience smog and shallow fog during the night and morning hours over the next two days.
