Cold Wave Grips Delhi as Minimum Temperature Drops to 7°C with Foggy Morning.      

People in the national capital Delhi woke up to foggy morning today as cold wave continues to grip the city. A layer of fog covered parts of Delhi with minimum temperature dropping to 7 degree Celcius. India Meteorological Department IMD has forecast for partly cloudy skies in the city with light rain in the evening. The Maximum and Minimum temperature will hover around 23 and 7 degree celcius.

The Air Quality in Delhi is in very poor category. According to Central Pollution Control Board Air Quality Index was recorded 342 at 7 o’ clock this morning.

IMD said, cold wave conditions to continue in Jammu-Kashmir-Ladakh-Gilgit-Baltistan-Muzaffarabad, Punjab and Himachal Pradesh today. Dense fog conditions to prevail during late night and early morning hours in isolated pockets of Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Odisha, Assam & Meghalaya.

Heavy rainfall is very likely in Coastal Andhra Pradesh today. Thunderstorm accompanied with lightning expected in West Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, West Madhya Pradesh, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada and Gujarat.
