In Sikkim, all preparations have been made for the smooth conduct of the Kailash Mansarovar yatra beginning tomorrow.
Governor Om Prakash Mathur will flag off the yatra tomorrow morning from Nathula pass. The first batch consists of 36 pilgrims along with two officials of Ministry of External Affairs.
Our Correspondent reports that each batch will take 10 to 11 days to complete the yatra . There will be a total of 10 batches that will undertake Kailash Mansarovar Yatra this year from Nathula in Sikkim.
The yatra has resumed after a gap of five years. Various state and central government agencies are working together to ensure the smooth and hassle-free visit of all the pilgrims.
