Domestic benchmark indices, Sensex and Nifty ended lower, snapping their gaining rally achieved in past sessions. Both the indices had witnessed downfall after surging to fresh all-time highs in the intraday trade on Friday.
At close, the Sensex declined 264 points, or 0.3 percent at 85,571 while the Nifty fell 37 points, or 0.1 percent at 26,178.
In the Global Crude Market, Brent Crude was trading 0.21 percent up at 71 dollar 75 cents per barrel, and WTI Crude increased 0.28 percent to trade at 67 dollars and 86 cents per barrel, when the reports last came in.
In the Indian bullion market, the 24 Karat Gold was trading at 75,520 rupees for 10 grams, Silver 999 fine, is trading at 92,310 per one kilogram, when reports last came in.
