The Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (Amendment) Bill, 2023 is scheduled to be taken up for discussion in the Rajya Sabha today. The Lok Sabha had passed it on Thursday. The Registration of Births and Deaths (Amendment) Bill, 2023 will also be taken up in the Upper House today.
BJP has issued a whip to its MPs in both houses of Parliament urging them to be present in the House. In its three-line whip, the party has asked them to support the government’s stand and Bills.
