In Nagaland, Chief Minister Niephiu Rio today launched several Economic Empowerment initiatives of the state. These includes Ura Cab, Nagaland Tourism Connect- Hornbill Edition and Digital Piggery Insurance.
Among the notable programs introduced was Ura Cabs, a homegrown taxi aggregation platform designed to enhance travel experiences for tourists while providing stable income opportunities for local taxi operators. In addition, the Chief Minister flagged off Nagaland Tourism Connect – Hornbill Edition, which introduces newly branded tourism vehicles to improve the state’s tourism infrastructure.
More than 90 new fleet of vehicles were introduced under Nagaland Tourism Connect- Hornbill Edition, which are specially branded to represent state’s identity and commitment to offering memorable travel experience.
As the state gear up for the Hornbill Festival, Mr Rio said every stakeholder to work together to make this year’s celebrations a shining example of Naga hospitality and efficiency.
