India Meteorological Department has predicted more rainfall in coastal Tamil Nadu and continuation of cold waves in northwest India during the next 4 days.
IMD said Bay of Bengal coast, spanning Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal, is expected to receive a fresh bout heavy rainfall.
It said, a fresh active Western Disturbance and cyclonic circulation is likely to affect northwest India from tomorrow. Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand are likely to experience widespread rainfall and snowfall under its influence during the next 4 days.
Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, north Rajasthan, west Uttar Pradesh, and West Madhya Pradesh are also likely to experience rainfall.
