Bihar government has declared seven days of mourning following the demise of former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh. The state will observe mourning from 26th December 2024 to 1st January 2025.
Several public functions scheduled to be held today were cancelled as a mark of respect to the departed soul.
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has cancelled his visit to Muzaffarpur as part of his Pragati Yatra. Tomorrow also the Chief Minister will not proceed on Pragati Yatra.
Tribute ceremonies are being organised today to pay homage to the former Prime Minister.
