Benchmark domestic equity indices ended on a flat note on Tuesday. The broader market indices at the Bombay Stock Exchange ended in positive territory. The Mid-Cap and the Small-Cap indices added 0.3 percent each.

The 30-share BSE Sensex rose marginally by two points to close at 81,510, while the NSE Nifty-50 was slightly down by nine points to settle at 24,610.

In the Forex market, the rupee today depreciated by 12 paise to settle at 84 rupees and 85 paise against the US dollar.

In the Indian Bullion Market, 24 Karat Gold was trading up at 77,980 rupees for 10 Grams while Silver 999 Fine, was also trading up at 95,130 rupees per kilogram.

Brent Crude was trading at 71 dollars and 86 cents per barrel, and WTI Crude was trading at 68 dollars and eight cents per barrel, according to the latest reports.
