Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Oleksandrovych Zelenskyy on phone. The phone call lasted for about 35 minutes. The two leaders discussed the evolving situation in Ukraine.
Prime Minister Modi appreciated the continuing direct dialogue between Russia and Ukraine.
Mr. Modi thanked President Zelenskyy for the help extended by the Government of Ukraine in the evacuation of Indian nationals from Ukraine.
He also sought continued support from the Government of Ukraine in ongoing efforts for the evacuation of Indian nationals from Sumy.
