The Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), Delhi, today reviewed the progress of disposal of notices, claims and objections with all the District Election Officers, Electoral Registration Officers and Assistant Electoral Registration Officers of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
CEO Delhi also informed that special camps were organized for the enrolment of new voters at different colleges and universities across Delhi today and will continue till tomorrow.
Another round of Special Camps will be organized at all polling stations across the National Capital on the 9th and 11th of this month to enroll left-out eligible electors.
It also noted that Special Camps will be held for those electors who have been displaced after the demolition of their colonies recently.
Electors of such colonies are requested to visit the Camps at their new place of residence to enroll themselves in the electoral rolls.
The Election Commission of India said that it is committed to ensuring that every eligible elector is added and that no ineligible entries remain in the Electoral Roll.
