The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange colour warning for heavy to very heavy rainfall over Chhattisgarh, Telangana and Vidarbha for today.
Heavy rainfall is also expected over Uttarakhand, Gujarat, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Chhattisgarh till tomorrow.
Similar weather conditions are expected over Odisha, Telangana, West Bengal and parts of North East India.
The Met Department said that thunderstorm and lightning conditions will continue over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Andhra Pradesh, Karaikal, Vidarbha, Bihar, Rajasthan, and Andaman and Nicobar Islands till tomorrow.
For Delhi, the Weather Agency has forecast a spell of light rainfall during the evening today.
