The United Arab Emirates has announced to ban unvaccinated citizens from traveling abroad from 10 of this month. Citizens who are fully vaccinated will also be required to take a booster shot against Covid-19 if eligible in order to travel. The ban will not apply to those with medical or humanitarian exemptions.
The new travel rules in the UAE were announced by the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The UAE has overseen one of the world’s most robust vaccination campaigns across the globe as more than 92 percent of the population are fully vaccinated.
