Union Minister Pralhad Joshi lays foundation stone for NTH residential project in Mumbai.

Union Minister of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Pralhad Joshi laid the foundation stone for the multi-storey residential accommodation project at NTH (Western Region) and inaugurated the Microbiological Testing Laboratory at the National Test House (Western Region) in Mumbai today.

The programme also witnessed the virtual inauguration of the Shoe Testing Facility at the National Test House (Northern Region) in Ghaziabad and the NTH AURIC Satellite Centre in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.

Addressing the gathering, Mr Joshi asserted that these testing facilities will determine India’s role in becoming a global production hub by ensuring quality assurance amidst an unstable global scenario where the world order has become vulnerable.

He opined that everything India produces must be of top-notch quality, not only the goods we export, and urged striving for perfection. He reiterated the principle of “no effect (on environment) and no defect” for Indian goods.

He called for utilising technological advancements in various sectors and building trust in Indian products at a faster pace with a no-compromise policy, as it plays a crucial role in shaping India’s economy and fulfilling the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.
