Chhattisgarh. 22 Maoists surrendered in Narayanpur district.

22 Maoists have surrendered before the police in Narayanpur district of Chhattisgarh today. District Superintendent of Police Robinson Guria said that a total reward of 37.50 lakh rupees was declared on these Maoists.

The surrendered Maoists will be provided incentives of 50,000 rupees each, along with other facilities under the new rehabilitation policy of the state government.

As many as 22 Maoists, who were active in the Abhujmad area and carrying collective rewards of ₹37.5 lakh, surrendered in Chhattisgarh’s Narayanpur district on Friday (July 11, 2025), a senior police official said.

The surrendered Maoists told the police that they were disappointed with the “hollow” Maoist ideology and growing internal differences within the banned outfit, Narayanpur Superintendent of Police Robinson Guria said.
