IMD forecasts rain across Northeast, North & Central India, heatwave in Odisha.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast isolated heavy rainfall over Northeast India today and light to moderate rainfall for the next six days.

IMD said that similar weather conditions are also likely over Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Chhattisgarh, East Rajasthan, and Karnataka during the next few days.

The weather department has forecast dust-raising winds over West Rajasthan till the 9th of this month. Heat wave conditions are likely to prevail over Odisha today and over West Rajasthan from the 7th to the 9th of June. Meanwhile, IMD forecasts partly cloudy weather for the National Capital and its adjoining areas today.
