An encounter is underway between security forces and terrorists in the Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday, according to officials.

At least one Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist has been killed in the Zinpather Keller area of Shopian on Tuesday after an encounter broke out between terrorists and security forces, sources told India Today TV. Two other Lashkar terrorists are believed to be trapped. An exchange of fire is currently underway between the trapped terrorists and the security agencies.
