The diamond jubilee celebrations of the Akashvani Hyderabad Kendra have begun this afternoon with Director General, Akashvani and News Services Division, Dr. Pragya Paliwal Gaur virtually unveiling the pylon to mark the momentous occasion.
Addressing the Akashvani Hyderabad officials and staff on the occasion, Dr Pragya Paliwal Gaur said the shift of broadcasting technology from analogue to digital transmitters has enhanced its broadcasting capabilities, and the adoption of internet technology expanded its reach and also enabled livestreaming of various channels.
She recalled that Akashvani Hyderabad has a strong presence in rural and urban population, catering diverse populations by broadcasting content in 7 languages, enabling true inclusiveness and broad accessibility.
