Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel unveiled plans to establish a desert tourism circuit in the near future to boost tourism in Kutch.
Addressing a program during a formal visit to the White Desert of Dhordo yesterday, the Chief Minister said that the state government is planning to establish a desert tourism circuit from Dhordo so that tourists coming for the Rannotsav can also visit other places like Matana Madh, Kalo Dungar, Narayan Sarovar, Mandvi by direct bus service.
On this occasion, State Tourism Minister Mulubhai Bera announced that 460 tent facilities, costing Rs 54 crore, will be set up for middle-class families in the White Desert of Dhordo by next year.
The Ranotsav has officially started from November 11th and will be held till March 15th, 2025.
