The air quality in the National Capital, Delhi, is in the poor category, with an average Air Quality Index (AQI) of 224 at 8 PM on Tuesday. According to the Central Pollution Control Board, AQI in some areas of the city breached the 250 levels.
The AQI at Delhi’s, R.K Puram Station was recorded at 339, Nehru Nagar at 276, Bawana at 269, Ashok Vihar at 262, Shadipur at 254, Rohini at 254, and Wazirpur Station at 251.
The India Meteorological Department has forecast that Delhi and NCR are likely to experience moderate fog during the morning hours and shallow fog in the night hours over the next two days.
