Thousands of people from the Indian community in Canada protested against the attack on a Hindu temple in the Greater Toronto Area yesterday. While a group of protesters blocked a road, others condemned the attack by the Separatist mob.
They were later dispersed as police declared their assembly as “unlawful” and deployed armed personnel in riot gear to clear the protesters.
The Indian community in Canada has taken a united stand against the Separatists who attacked devotees at the Hindu temple in Brampton.
This was a rare show of strength by the law-abiding community that had been pushed to organise and mobilise after the violence. It was also a show of unity between Hindus and Sikhs against the small number of Khalistanis, who have been mollycoddled in Canada by the Justin Trudeau administration.
